Stephen,
I just wanted to thank you for the job you did on my custom tank. As you
can imagine I’ve been anticipating the arrival like a kid waits for
Christmas morning. The shipping company called ahead to set a drop off
time and it arrived at my business yesterday exactly when they said it
would. After unwrapping the tank, I was pleasantly surprised by the
seamless corners (you can’t even see a line). It’s exactly what I wanted
and my apprehension about a long distance blind order was unwarranted.
My only problem would be on my end, my new house isn’t quite ready yet,
so it will have to sit in my office for a couple of long weeks. Once
again thanks, it was wonderful experience that I would gladly do again.

"Tanks
for your business has been in business for over 10 years. During that
time we have installed hundreds of acrylic aquariums. Steves' tanks
are superior to any commercial aquarium on the market. The seams are
smooth and flawless. There is never been any hazing or crackling which
is so common in commercial aquariums. Although you pay a little more
for a tank built by Steve, it is a bargain when you compare the quality
and workmanship of his tanks. I recently saw a quote which sums up my
view of an aquarium built by Aquariums by the Sea. It is called "The
Lowest Bidder." "It is unwise to pay too much, but it is worse to pay
too little. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything,
because what you bought was incapable of doing what it was bought to
do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and
getting a lot... it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder
it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that,
you will have enough to pay for the something better." John Ruskin (1819-1900)"

Owner,Tanks for your business
Two
of our biggest concerns was In the choosing of the right location for
our retail store. and finding a company that we could depend onto build
all of our show aquariums and holding areas for our fresh and marine
live stock. We needed a company that not only could build a aquarium
but had the knowledge to design and build systems that were up to date
with the latest of equipment for low maintenance with a minimal fatality
rate. We found a company that not only try's to understand there customers
needs but also had enough knowledge and love for the fish hobby that
they were able to to advise and build everything that was needed to
maintain a low maintenance and healthy fish environment. AQUARIUMS BY
THE SEA first designed all of our Fin area to be on a rear cat walk
design around the store for easy access and service. Then on that cat
walk, all of the systems were divided up and put onto large wet & dry
sump biological filtration with large down draft protein skimming and
pumps to remove all fatty acids and protein waste, and then, custom
dinitrafacation units for each system to eliminate those large weekly
water changes. All aquariums and holding areas were then put on titanium
chillers and heaters with electronic duel stage controllers and alarm
systems to maintain less then a 2 degree temperature change, this In
It's self gave us a low fatality rate and a high disease control. They
then designed and built a master filtration room with a 1000 gallon
per day reverse osmoses unit and a 500 gallon holding area for our customers
daily R.O. water needs, and then connected this up to automatic level
controllers and alarms on all of our aquarium systems through out the
store to handle all of the evaporation needs. Then they designed and
Installed all of the V.H.O. Actinic Fluorescent and Metal Halide Lighting
with electronic ballast and timers for our live reef and live coral
and fish areas. They not only designed what we needed for our 10,000
gallon holding area, but they did It on a dead line. And It works fantastic.Other
than having to clean a little algae off of some of our aquarium fronts
and stop to feed the fish, we are now able to spend more time helping
our customers chose healthy fish for there systems. AQUARIUMS BY THE
SEA still builds and supply's all of our aquarium needs for our customers.
It does not matter what shape or size or need, they will sit down and
help us design a working system.
